Once we have assessed your home and are ready to begin, we will begin our process of spraying your carpet or upholstery with our enzyme based prespray (which helps to eliminate mold, dust mites and germs). Once we have given the cleaning solution time to dwell for 5-20 min depending on variables, it has now set itself into the fibers of the material we are cleaning. We then agitate the carpet, just another piece of the pie for proper cleaning. After the dwell time is up, we then come in with our carpet cleaning wand that is powered by our high end truck mounted carpet cleaning units, and begin to remove the dirt and grime that lives in your carpet or upholstery. For the carpet, our truck mounted units provide a very high temperature and high pressure water spray which is applied onto the surface of the material. As the water is sprayed into the material being cleaned it is almost simultaneously being sucked up with a very high powered vacuum that flows through the carpet wand.

Our Other Services

Upholstery– The upholstery cleaning process is very similar but with lower temperatures and pressure as to not damage the upholstery filling or frame. We use a fine fabric cleaning solution, as higher ph levels on certain fabrics can damage easily.

Tile and Grout – Our tile cleaning process is similar. Though pressure is cranked up to over 1000psi, the hard surface can take a beating, and this produces the best results. We use air movers to help speed up your drying time, the tile flooring itself is usually completely dry before we leave the home. Be sure to ask about grout sealer to help protect your investment.

Area Rug Cleaning – We also provide high-end rug cleaning. Synthetic rugs can be cleaned in your home, but when it comes to natural fiber rugs, it is a totally different cleaning process. We bring these rugs back to our sister company, Oriental Rug Cleaning Plant, so the specifically trained rug technicians can clean them properly. We DO NOT use carpet cleaning tools to clean your valuables, and we DO NOT let untrained carpet technicians touch your rug. This is a very delicate process that requires specific skills, cleaning tools and supplies.

Did you know we steam clean upholstery as well as carpets? Well, surprise we do! Yep, we use our professional equipment and trained, certified technicians to deep clean your upholstery. Sectionals, sofas, loveseats, ottomans, chairs, we do it all. As long as it is a material that can be cleaned, we clean it. Leather, vinyl, white cotton or suede are all fabrics that should not be steam cleaned do to the variation of different results you could end up with. Some of those materials could have fibers that contain sugars that could dye the material a different color once it has been steamed and dried. Other materials could shrink which could result in a tear in the material or furniture that can become very uncomfortable.

Steam cleaning your upholstery can help to rid the furniture of allergens, dust mites and even possible mold spores, as well as helping your furniture look as new as possible. Steam cleaning has a much more effective result when compared to vacuuming. Now, we still recommend vacuuming your cloth furniture regularly. But, Vacuuming alone will not keep your furniture as clean or as nice looking as a good deep steam cleaning. When we steam clean your upholstery, we use a safe, natural pre spray solution to slightly wet the fabric being cleaned. This cleaning solution is not the same as we use for our carpet cleaning. Using to high of a PH spray, can damage your upholstery or reduce the life, as it deteriorates the material quicker. Once the pre spray has had a chance to dwell, this usually takes 5-10 minutes, the its time for it to work its magic, loosening up the dirt and grime. We then take our upholstery cleaning tools and get to work. We spray the upholstery with a high temperature water, yet safe enough for the fine fabric material, and a pressure that is lower than we use while cleaning carpet. This helps to prevent soaking the padding underneath the material. Once the material has been sprayed and wet, we then extract all the grime and dirt out with a very high pressure truck mounted cleaning unites. When we are finished with an area or peace of furniture, we will bring in our industrial air movers, these help the dry time decrease substantially. During cleaning we will make sure to clean up any excess moisture that may fall onto a hard surface. We recommend leaving any cushions in the positions we put them in, as many times removable cushions will be left on there side to ensure both sides are able to dry properly.

Pet Stain and Odor Removal

Pet urine can cause permanent damage to our carpet fibers and padding. It can also create an unhealthy indoor environment. When urine is first deposited on our carpets, it is in a neutral ph, this means it is easier to remove when new. When dried, it turns alkaline and becomes almost impossible to remove for the home owner. If days have passed, it can permanently change the dye structure, damage the fibers and cause permanent staining.

Here are a few of the steps we take to find and rectify the problem at hand.

First we will take a visual of the areas of concern.
We then take our industrial UV light to identify all the problem areas, and mark the with a water soluable marker.
We then will attack the areas with our cleaning solution that kills the urine salts, this is the root of the odor and usually is in the padding. Thats why we flood the area similar to the image below.
Letting the cleaning solution dwell for a minimum of 30 mins is a major priority.
Then take our sub surface tool to extract the water out of the subfloor, padding and carpet.
Lastly we will do our normal cleaning process to ensure all cleaning solutions are extracted.

Pet stain and odor removal is difficult enough for us as professionals, not to mention the poor home owner that is confused as to why there cleaning products aren’t helping. This is why we are well trained, experienced and knowledgeable in the removal of pet urine and the stains that are left behind. Most people who try to tackle the removal of pet odors in their home may eventually (after multiple various attempts) come to to a frustrated conclusion that leaves the pet odor still lingering. That conclusion is usually reached due to a misunderstanding of where the pet odor is actually coming from. A typical pet odor that just won’t go away (urine) is usually one that is actually embedded into the padding that is nestled under the carpet itself. Cleaning the carpet alone will typically give you a satisfactory visual result, but will not necessarily eliminate that annoying, pungent urine odor. That’s where we come in with our sub surface cleaning process. Pet urine will soak straight through the carpet and into the padding where it will harden (crystallize). One that takes place, you’re going to be stuck with that terrible smell that seems impossible to rid your home of. Our process floods the affected area with our professional (safe & green) solution and high temperature water. The process lets the mixture surpass the carpet and soak itself directly into the padding, which will begin to break down the crystallized urine. Once the urine is broken back down to a liquid it can be extracted using our high vacuum truck mounted units.

Now, once the process is complete there will typically be an odor that is a bit more noticeable for a short amount of time. Don’t let it fool you, that is the broken down urine dissipating. The more ventilation you can provide for your home (fans, open windows & doors) the more quickly the odor will dissipate.
